Descrizione
This course provides comprehensive training for divers who wish to use gas mixtures containing helium, EAN (Enriched Air Nitrox), or pure oxygen, with the goal of conducting safe dives up to a maximum depth of 60 meters. The main focus of the course is the use of Trimix mixtures, a combination of oxygen, nitrogen, and helium, which is particularly useful for reducing the narcotic effects of nitrogen during deep dives. Students will acquire all the necessary skills to plan and conduct dives with Trimix, learning how to safely manage both depth and the associated decompression times.
During the course, divers will be trained to effectively use the specific equipment for these types of dives, such as multiple cylinders and advanced dive computers designed to handle different gas mixtures. The theoretical lessons will cover fundamental topics such as the physiology of breathing with Trimix, dive planning, decompression stops, and emergency management during deep dives.
At the end of the course, certified divers will be authorized to perform dives using Trimix mixtures without supervision, provided the conditions of the training are followed. This means they will be able to dive autonomously, but always maintaining an oxygen percentage in the mixture not lower than 18%, as stipulated by the course guidelines to ensure safety.
The course represents an important step forward in technical diving training, providing the foundation for tackling deeper and more complex dives while minimizing the risks associated with the use of compressed gases. It is an essential certification for those wishing to explore underwater environments at greater depths.
