SCUBA DISCOVERY COURSE
EXPLORING THE UNDERWATER WORLD

The Scuba Discovery Program is carefully designed to offer students an introductory experience in scuba diving with a self-contained breathing apparatus, ensuring a safe and enjoyable approach. This opportunity is ideal for those who wish to discover the underwater world but are not yet sure if they want to pursue a full certification course. Under the direct supervision of a qualified instructor, students will be able to dive for the first time in a controlled environment, where they will be guided step-by-step to ensure a safe and rewarding experience.

The program begins with a detailed introduction to basic scuba equipment. Students will learn to familiarize themselves with the use of the regulator, buoyancy control device (BCD), fins, and mask, while also understanding the importance of safety and underwater communication. Each student will have the opportunity to gain practical knowledge on how to properly prepare and use the equipment, and will be guided through essential procedures for a safe dive.

After the introductory phase, students will be accompanied on an underwater exploration in the local aquatic environment, which could be a pool, a calm bay, or another safe area. This dive will allow them to apply the knowledge they’ve gained in a real-world context, experiencing the sensation of breathing underwater and moving within the underwater world.

This experience represents a unique opportunity for those curious about exploring the wonders of the underwater world without the immediate commitment of a full certification course. At the end of the program, many participants discover a new passion for diving and choose to continue with more advanced training, such as the SDI Open Water Diver course, which offers internationally recognized certification.
