SKIN DIVER COURSE
THE ABCs OF DIVING

This course is carefully designed to provide students with all the necessary skills to practice snorkeling safely and consciously. The lessons, taught by qualified instructors, aim to train students in a controlled environment, simulating conditions similar to those they may encounter during future marine explorations. During the course, students will learn fundamental techniques such as breath control, proper equipment management, and the importance of maintaining situational awareness of their surroundings at all times.

One of the most crucial aspects of the course is training students to recognize and handle potential risks that may arise during snorkeling. Through practical exercises, students will build confidence in their abilities, learning how to manage emergencies and respond appropriately to unforeseen situations, such as sudden changes in weather conditions or encounters with marine life.

By the end of the course, students will be able to snorkel without the need for direct supervision from an instructor, as long as they do so in conditions similar to those in which they were trained. This means they will have developed a solid foundation of knowledge and skills that will allow them to safely enjoy underwater exploration, fully appreciating the wonders of the underwater world.

Once they have obtained the certification, participants will have the opportunity to continue their training and enrich their diving experience by enrolling in the SDI Open Water Diver course. This course represents the next step in diving education, offering the chance to deepen diving techniques and explore more complex and challenging underwater environments under the expert guidance of certified instructors. With this progression, students will be able to further expand their skills and discover new possibilities in the world of diving.
